MINIMUM NIGHT BOOKING
For most of the year we only ask for a 2 night minimum stay – available on any day
During all school holidays & throughout July & August we have set check in days of Monday or Friday (so a 3 or 4 night minimum)
Our usual arrival days are Monday and Friday. Arrival at 4pm and departure at 10.30am. If you have a special request please contact us – we will try to be as flexible as possible. If we have late availability it may be possible to stay for 1 night only, please contact us for details.
A provisional booking will be held for 7 days, by which point a non-refundable 25% deposit is required. Full payment must reach us 6 weeks before the booking. If the booking is within 6 weeks the full amount is payable. Full terms and conditions will be emailed to you on booking as, quite frankly, it’s all rather dull.
Please check our Facebook page Mrs Mills’ Yurts or on Instagram MrsMillsYurts for last minute availability and discounts.
We allow dogs to come and ‘glamp’ too… as long as they aren’t left in the Yurt for long periods of time and they are well behaved and cleaned up after! I ask for an additional £20 per stay, for up to 2 dogs. We also have a rather over friendly cat that might help welcome you. Maggie is often around so please let us know if you are not a feline lover and we’ll do our best to keep her away!
We also have 4 plump birds (Cinderella, Alice, Elsa and Ana) who are free roaming Chickens – if your dog may like to chase them I can suggest Zelda is the best yurt for you as its the furthest from them – they tend not to wander that far. I would ask you to keep pets on leads until you know the chicken’s won’t be bothered by them. I provide long line camping stakes to help with this.
We hope everything is included to make your stay really comfortable. We provide all linen & towels (including Bathrobes for that chilly morning stroll to the loos!) all firewood, a kitchenette with essentials like olive oil, salt & pepper, Tea, Coffee, sugar & milk. There is even a decanter of Sherry to really help you settle into your Yurt. Each booking also includes a yummy breakfast hamper delivered to you Yurt on the first morning you wake up. Complimentary Tea and treats are served in the kitchen daily and there are some lovely toiletries we’ve provided too.
We don’t try to trick you into spending any more money than you need but we do offer additional items such as extra breakfasts, picnic hampers, dinners & midnight feasts if you would like. Each Yurt sleeps two guests for the prices above. There is a small additional charge for linen for extra occupancy.
It’s just as fun (if not more!) to stay in a Yurt in the colder months with the log burner roasting and a hearty stew bubbling on top as it is to have a fire pit, barbeque & doors wide open when the sun finally sets in summer. I’ve taken the kids glamping in November and had to let some heat out!
